Contrary to what many people believe, it is very easy to start a business. It is also simple to maintain, and grow a very lucrative, profitable, and successful business, even without any experience. In my many years being in business for myself, one of the common themes that I have come across is that many people are intimidated at the very thought of starting a business because they think it will be too difficult to be successful. So they let doubt and fear seep in and mentally psyche themselves out before giving it a fair chance. I'm here to tell you that all you need to start a successful business are: determined vision, focused commitment, and an idea!
Almost any idea can be grown to be a successful business. Everybody reading this right now has multiple talents, abilities, and expertise that are unique to themselves that they can expand and grow into a successful business. One of my initial mentors started their multi millionaire dollar business by selling peanuts. Yes, peanuts. Your idea does not have to be huge, vast, or even unique. It only has to be strong enough for you to want to flow with it and grow with it.
If you don’t have an idea yet, start by listing 5 to 10 virtues, talents, abilities, skills, or level of expertise that you have that you could potentially want to grow into a business. Once you have a few solid ideas in mind, the next step is to begin to brainstorm and explore them to come up with some viable business ideas. This is the beginning of your business journey. Of course, growing a business also requires the right Branding, Marketing, and Strategy (more on that later), but it all begins with an idea. Without that, you have nothing.
No matter who you are, what you do, or what your expertise is, you can start a business and you can be extremely successful growing that business. Please do not let any fear, misconception, or doubt prevent you from freeing yourself financially and allowing your life to develop on your terms and not anybody else’s.
